Terms of service
Last updated 5 October 2026
These terms apply when you use Promovilo, a service that makes short promo films for products and services. Promovilo is run by Muuh AS (organisation number 998 153 344), Sukkevannslia 4, 4638 Kristiansand, Norway. You can reach us at [email protected].
For businesses
Promovilo is made for businesses and other organisations, and is sold for use in a business. By creating an account you confirm that you use Promovilo for your business and that you may accept these terms on its behalf. Prices are shown excluding VAT.
Your account
- You need an account with a working email address to make films. We sign you in with links sent to that email, so keep your inbox and any password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens in your account.
- You can delete your account at any time in your settings.
How Promovilo works
- You give us a brief: your website, a description, your logo and your wishes. We use AI to write, design and score a film from it, and you can preview and change it in your browser.
- Previews are free within the limits shown in the app. A preview carries a “Preview” badge and may not be recorded, downloaded or published.
- Films are made by AI and can contain mistakes. Check every word, number and claim before you publish a film; you are responsible for what you publish and for following marketing law where you use it.
Buying a film
- You pay once per film, at the price shown before you buy. Prices are in US dollars, excluding VAT or sales tax, which is added at checkout where it applies.
- Payments are handled by Stripe. Stripe’s affiliate Sold through Link, LLC is the merchant of record: it sells the film to you on our behalf, collects the tax and sends your receipt and invoice. Its purchase terms apply to the payment, including its refund policy.
- A bought film is unlocked at once: you can download it as MP4 in every format and keep changing it within what the purchase includes, as shown in the app. A unique film is made after you pay, which takes 20–30 minutes.
- Before paying, you ask for the film to be delivered right away. If something is wrong with your film, write to us and we will make it right, by fixing it or refunding you.
Your content and your film
- You keep all rights to what you give us. You confirm that you may use it, including your logo, the text on your website and any names or trademarks in your brief, and you let us use it to make and show your films to you.
- As between you and us, a film you have bought is yours. To the extent any rights in it arise for us, including rights as producer of the film, we transfer them to you. You may use the film for any lawful purpose, worldwide and without time limit: on your website, in presentations, on social media and in ads. This includes the music made for it.
- Because films are made with AI, a film may not be protected by copyright, and similar films may be made for others.
- The film library, the designs, the fonts, the icons, the code and the software behind Promovilo remain ours or our licensors’. They are licensed to you as part of the films you buy; you may not copy them out of a film or use Promovilo to build a competing service.
- We do not show your films to anyone else without your permission.
Fair use
Do not use Promovilo to make films that are illegal, misleading, hateful or that infringe the rights of others, that impersonate someone, or for a product that is not yours to promote. Do not try to get around the free limits, for example with many accounts or automated sign-ups. We may limit or close accounts that break these rules.
Our responsibility
- We work to keep Promovilo available and your films safe, but the service is provided as it is, and we cannot promise that it is always available or free of errors.
- Our liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit. These limits do not apply to loss caused by our gross negligence or intent, or where mandatory law provides otherwise.
Changes and law
- We may change these terms. We will tell you by email or in the app before important changes take effect.
- How we handle personal data is described in our privacy policy.
- Norwegian law applies, and disputes go to Agder District Court. If mandatory law nevertheless treats you as a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live and may bring proceedings in its courts.
